✨ About

Shani Dev rewards discipline and tests carelessness, and his transits, Sade Sati and Dhaiya especially, can bring delays, pressure and a feeling of being held back. This puja is offered at Shri Shani Dham in Kokilavan with an abhishek and prayers in your name, asking for ease through these periods, steadier progress and protection from the harsher effects of Shani's gaze.

About Temple

Shri Shani Dham, Kokilavan

Kokilavan, near Mathura, holds a distinctive place among Shani temples through its link with Lord Krishna. Local tradition says Krishna appeared before Shani Dev in this grove and blessed it, giving the place its name, the grove of the cuckoo. Devotees come to the Shani shrine here seeking relief from the harsher effects of his transit, such as Sade Sati and Dhaiya, and Saturdays are the day of Shani worship.
